God, source and giver of all things, we give thanks on this day for the beauty of the whole of creation. We give you thanks for the blessings of family and friends, both those gathered with us today, and those who are present in our hearts. We give thanks for our food, prepared by loving hands, and for the graces you provide to nourishour bodies, minds, and hearts so that we might better serve you. Help us to be faith-filled stewards of all that has been given to us. May we reflect that which we have received to all we meet, especially the poor and less fortunate in our midst. Thank you!

St. Joseph's Catholic Church
43 Gebardt Rd, Penfield NY
Fr. James Schwartz, Pastor
The parishioners of St. Joseph’s invite you to join us in witnessing to the love of Jesus Christ in the world. We are a growing community with a diverse mix of new families, teens, young adults, and seniors who have been with St. Joseph’s since it was the little Church on the hill on Penfield Road. All are welcome. All are part of the fabric that makes us Church.
There are many ways to get involved with the life of the parish and to serve the Body of Christ. Learn more about who are as a community, the worship life of St. Joseph’s, lifelong learning, ways to serve through pastoral care and social justice outreach, and ways to take another step on your faith journey through our vibrant parish life and spiritual enrichment.
"The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; it is the font from which all her power flows." SC #10. To see a welcome greeting from Pastor Fr. Jim Schwartz, please click here.
St. Joseph's staff, volunteers, and parishioners frequently take candid photos and record video of liturgies and other church and meeting room events. Some of those pictures may be published in our parish publications, on parish social media, and on our website . If you do not wish to have your picture published, please contact the church office by phone or email.
