    • The Message for Holy Week 2014
As we approach Holy Week, be ready to hear the readings and homily by spending time each week with Sunday Scripture. It is always available at www.USCCB.org/bible/readings, and in our Question of the Week email.

The Gospel Question of the Week for Palm Sunday, April 12-13: As we follow Jesus to the cross, how do we respond to his extraordinary act of love today?

St. Joseph's parishioner Dillon Salluzzo, who is a student at Bay Trail Middle School, demonstrated creative initiative and compassion in a public service video now featured on SEPTA's Facebook page.

A few days ago students at Bay Trail signed a  banner, pledging to stop use of the R-Word. Dillon and his mom, Mary Salluzzo, presented this video and discussed their efforts in support of eradicating this derogatory R-word, and replacing it with another R-word, "RESPECT" at St. Joseph's Sunday Night FAITH group. Click here to see this inspiring, short video

    • Welcome

As a Catholic Community, we witness to the love of Jesus Christ in the world.

The parishioners of St. Joseph’s invite you to join us in witnessing to the love of Jesus Christ in the world. We are a growing community with a diverse mix of new families, teens, young adults, and seniors who have been with St. Joseph’s since it was the little Church on the hill on Penfield Road. All are welcome. All are part of the fabric that makes us Church.

There are many ways to get involved with the life of the parish and to serve the Body of Christ. Learn more about who are as a community, the worship life of St. Joseph’s, lifelong learning, ways to serve through pastoral care and social justice outreach, and ways to take another step on your faith journey through our vibrant parish life and spiritual enrichment.

"The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; it is the font from which all her power flows." SC #10.  To see a welcome greeting from Pastor Fr. Jim Schwartz, please click here.
