The Fall is fast approaching and our choirs will be returning in full swing here at St. Joseph’s!
We are always looking for new members! Please consider joining one of our music groups! If you have any questions about our music ministry, contact our Director of Music, Susan Gividen, at susan.e.gividen@dor.org or 585-586-8089 X124.
To those who may be new to the parish, or who may be considering joining us in our ministry, we offer a hearty welcome, and hope that you’ll make this the year to become a part of a choir; There's always a place for you in a choir! You're welcome to come to some rehearsals and see where you feel comfortable.
We promise that you’ll be welcomed with open arms, and that your gifts, whether you’re a professional musician or a beginner, will be appreciated and valued. If you have children, they are welcome to attend rehearsals with you. Let us make music together!

Music Ministry at St. Joseph's Church
St. Joseph’s has a rich and uniquely varied musical heritage; the music ministry is a vibrant and integral part of the liturgical life of the parish, with opportunities for everyone. Through the hard work of a host of talented and enthusiastic volunteer ministers, St. Joseph's music ministry leads the community in song at hundreds of liturgies per year, in the form of five choirs, a handbell choir, cantors, and instrumentalists.
